Food stall located at Orchard area selling Malaysia style cuisine looking out for Kitchen Assisant/Cook

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the main cook in food preparation (e.g., washing, cutting, marinating)

  • Prepare ingredients for dishes such as

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas

  • Set up workstations and ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations

  • Assist in plating and packaging takeaway orders

  • Operate and manage the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for taking orders and handling cashless payments

  • Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have relevant working experience as Kitchen Assistant/Cook

  • Candidate with experience in Malaysian style cuisine for example, Char Kway Teow, Curry Noodles, and Nasi Lemak an advantage

  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays

Remuneration:

  • Basic Salary: Starting from $2600 (depending on experience)

  • Meals provided

  • Working hours: 8 or 10 hours shift/day

  • Rest day: 1 day per week (to be arranged by employer

  • Entitled to annal leave and medical leave benefits
