JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  2. Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and define business objectives

  3. Obtain, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
  4. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers

  5. Business Process Improvement

  6. Analyze existing processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for automation

  7. Design future-state processes and help stakeholders visualize improvements
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals

  9. Stakeholder Management

  10. Serve as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and vendors

  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels (end-users, department heads, executives)
  12. Manage expectations and build consensus among cross-functional teams

  13. Solution Design Support

  14. Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs

  15. Participate in UI/UX discussions, workflow design and wireframes review

  16. Testing and Quality Assurance

  17. Develop or review test plans, test cases, and UAT scripts

  18. Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users
  19. Validate that solutions meet business requirements and are fit for purpose

  20. Reporting & Documentation

  21. Create and maintain detailed documentation (e.g., BRD, FSD, user guides, process flows)

  22. Generate reports or dashboards to track key business or project metrics
  23. Ensure that project documentation is up to date and stored appropriately

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

  • Minimal bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or similar preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Comfortable working with databases, APIs, enterprises applications, and reporting tools
  • Proven ability to work with senior business users, developers, QA, and project managers
  • Experience mentoring junior BAs or leading analysis efforts on cross-functional initiatives
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, Asana) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Understanding of software architecture and design patterns is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP Crystal Report and Jasper Report will be added advantage
