Contract Duration: 2-year contract, with possible extension

Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 0900hrs to 1800hrs

Working Location: SMRT Depots – Kim Chuan Depot / Vanguard Office

Responsibilities:

Overhaul Regime Management

·       Lead material planning and provisioning for scheduled and unscheduled overhaul activities.

·       Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of overhaul kits and components.

·       Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials used in overhaul processes.

·       Implement and maintain overhaul material lifecycle tracking systems.

RMA (Return Material Authorization) Management

·       Manage the RMA process for defective or non-conforming materials, including initiation, tracking, and closure.

·       Liaise with suppliers and OEMs to ensure timely resolution of RMA cases.

·       Maintain accurate records of returned materials, credit notes, replacements, and root cause analysis.

·       Develop and monitor KPIs related to RMA turnaround time, recovery rate, and supplier responsiveness.

Operational Excellence

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues impacting overhaul or RMA operations.

·       Support audits and reporting requirements related to material management.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in material management, preferably in a manufacturing or maintenance-heavy environment, preferably in rail experience

·       Strong understanding of overhaul regimes and RMA processes.

·       Proficient in ERP systems and inventory management tools.

·       Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·       Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
