Cargo Operations

  • Oversee daily LNG cargo operations, ensuring compliance with contractual, commercial and operational obligations
  • Manage nominations, notices, and scheduling with counterparties and terminals

Cargo Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track vessel positions and monitor voyage progress to ensure safe and timely cargo receipt
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trade information and update operational databases for analysis and reporting

Documentation & Claims Management

  • Manage and organize all cargo documentation for commercial and regulatory purposes, including bills of lading, surveyor reports, certificates, and regulatory declarations
  • Ensure timely issuance of invoices to, and verification of invoices from, relevant entities
  • Handle and manage contractual claims, including demurrage, deviations and shortfalls

Compliance & Assurance

  • Review LNG term sheets, confirmation notices, and contracts to assess and influence their operability from an operational perspective.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual commitments, insurance provisions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on vessel vetting and ship-shore compatibility, providing recommendations on vessel acceptance.
  • Develop, document, and maintain internal procedures to ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant cargo operations

Job Requirements:

  • Tertiary Degree in technical discipline (IT, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or Science) or related fields
  • Well-versed in LNG cargo and/or freight operations
  • Prior experience and familiarity with the LNG value chain
  • Familiar with SLNG terminal operations and M&T methodology
  • Clear communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure to manage operational emergencies
  • Able to adapt to occasional requirements outside standard working hours to support operational needs
  • Minimally 4 years of experience in the oil and gas operational function (strong preference for LNG operational experience)
