What will you be doing?

Reporting to the company's Customer Support Manager, you will work as the Support Engineer (Wet Clean Equipment) in Company's Group HQ in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support for the installation, operation and start-up of new wet clean equipment.

  2. Troubleshoot, repair and upgrade equipment hardware and software.

  3. Participate in the development, design, and improvement of new equipment.

  4. Provide maintenance and service of new equipment.

  5. Assist the customer equipment department in training operators and writing equipment maintenance manuals.

  6. Parts repair and engineering; legacy tool upgrade and retrofit

  7. Create installation and service report

Technical Requirements:

  1. Basic understanding of semiconductor wafer fab equipment and its major modules/components.

  2. Experience in semiconductor equipment assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Past working experience in wafer fab is an added advantage.

  3. Basic knowledge in mechanical design (AutoCad, SolidWorks, or related software), electronic control system design experience, or knowledge of equipment design programming in industrial PLC/PC.

  4. Experience in control system application software development is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or higher in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, automation, or related majors.

  2. More than 3 years of relevant working experience in equipment maintenance and service, with at least 1 year of experience in the semiconductor electronics industry equipment maintenance and service.

  3. Willing to travel regionally and internationally for extended period of time.

  4. Proficient in mechanical or electrical equipment-related theory and hands-on.

  5. Strong ability to analyze and solve machine related issues, with strong hands-on ability, sense of responsibility, and good communication and teamwork skills.

  6. Ability to independently complete equipment maintenance and service work.

  7. Good communication skills in English

  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
