About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced QS cum Drafter to join our team at Santo Engineering Pte. Ltd.'. As a QS cum Drafter, you will play a crucial role in our engineering projects, providing both quantity surveying and drafting support. This is a full-time position based in the West Region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and bill of quantities for engineering projects
  2. Perform quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and specifications
  3. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions
  4. Produce detailed engineering drawings and design documents using CAD software
  5. Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project deliverables
  6. Provide technical support and advice to project managers and stakeholders
  7. Continuously update your knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a QS cum Drafter in the engineering (Plumbing & Gas preferred) industry
  2. Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for producing engineering drawings
  3. Strong understanding of construction materials, quantities, and cost estimation techniques
  4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices
  7. Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
