Job Description

We're looking for a proactive DevSecOps Engineer to help design, build, and secure our cloud and on-premise infrastructure while enabling rapid product development. You'll play a key role in integrating security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teams to drive innovation without compromising safety or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation and processes to enable teams to deploy, manage, scale, and monitor applications in data centers and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across platforms, participating in on-call escalations for critical incidents.
• Take ownership of end-to-end infrastructure and security solutions across the organization.
• Integrate security practices into development workflows (DevSecOps) to ensure safe and compliant releases.
• Monitor, audit, and improve cloud and on-premise infrastructure security.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling processes for multiple environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early.
• Define and enforce best practices for infrastructure, code, and security.
• Respond to and troubleshoot security incidents and operational issues.
• Maintain documentation and provide training on DevSecOps processes to the team.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Min 4-5 years of proven experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, preferably in similar industry
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of security practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) and version control (Git).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Added Advantage:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or relevant security certifications.
• Experience with IoT platforms, embedded systems, or electronics design workflows.
• Exposure to Fintech regulations and security standards.

• Experience working in an organization that successfully implemented DevSecOps transformation.

• Experience with security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).
