The role

As a QAQC Engineer at Right Construction Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety on our construction projects in Singapore. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing robust quality assurance and control measures throughout the construction process.

Key responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  3. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify potential quality issues.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions.
  5. Maintain detailed quality records and documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
  6. Provide training and guidance to construction personnel on quality control best practices.
  7. Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project quality requirements are met.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer in the construction industry.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of construction quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and identify solutions.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
