About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Test Automation) to join the Singpass team, which builds Singapore's trusted digital identity platform for citizens and businesses. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality mobile applications that millions rely on daily.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain mobile test automation frameworks (e.g. Appium, Robot Framework).
  • Design, script, and execute automated and manual test cases for iOS and Android apps.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
  • Conduct performance testing and analyze results to improve app performance.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to identify test coverage gaps and optimize processes.

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Appium, Espresso, or XCTest.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) – advantage.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Gatling).
  • Knowledge of cloud or container technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) – nice to have.

Experience

  • At least 3 years in mobile application testing, with proven automation experience.
  • Exposure to Agile development environments.
  • DevOps experience is a plus.
