Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparation and implementation of Safety Program.
- Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH Act.
- Advise on work plan / Risk Assessment / safe work procedures.
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
- Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture.
- Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection.
- Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager.
- Have experience in confined space, high-altitude work, civil engineering or electrical engineering projects.
- Furnish the necessary documentation for relevant personnel to comply with WSH requirements.
- Any other duties assigned by the EHS Manager.
Experience / Skill Required
- Must have Workplace Safety & Health Diploma / Degree in Environment / Health/ Safety or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as WSHO in Singapore and experience in various construction projects.
- Must be a Singapore Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower (Singapore).
- Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment).
- Must be able to compile all relevant reports and records, carry out daily safety inspections, and be healthy, hardworking, and driven.
- Willing to travel to and from Tuas (company transport provided at Boon Lay MRT).
