Why this role?
As a Strategy Intern, you will be a full member of the Strategy & Marketing team, supporting key strategic projects with a focus on analytics to improve strategy execution and enable profitable decisions through data insights. You will provide performance insights, eliminate inefficiencies, and help prioritize improvement initiatives, playing a key role in data-driven decision-making.
What will you be doing?
General:
- Business Performance Analysis: Identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities to support decision-making.
- Analytics Coordination: Ensure correct analytics methods are selected and data requirements understood.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key contact point between business stakeholders and advanced analytics teams.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design dashboards and data visualizations; communicate findings and recommendations.
- Capability Building: Help develop analytics capabilities within the organization.
- Performance Insights: Provide actionable insights to eliminate inefficiencies and prioritize improvement initiatives.
Examples of Strategic Projects:
- Build and maintain "Execution Engine" initiatives on a portfolio management platform, supporting stage gates model, standardized methodologies, and rigorous follow-up.
- Facilitate follow-up of the KONE strategy scorecard and OKRs using automated, data-driven reporting tools.
- Define strategic projects in a portfolio management tool and support users to use the tool for strategy execution and follow-up.
Are you the one?
- University studies in a relevant field (finance, business, engineering, or similar).
- At least in the 3rd year of studies, with strong academic performance.
- Some experience in consulting, project management, or similar work.
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Strong communication skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Advantageous: experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Celonis, and Copilot or other AI agents.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English.
