Work Location: Senoko South Road.
Manage daily purchases, follow up with suppliers regarding the orders.
· Coordinating with warehouse regarding ordering and incoming goods.
· Research and evaluating new and existing suppliers by comparing quality of product, pricing, and delivery time
· Request for quotation and negotiating prices with the suppliers
· Liaising with external warehouse on incoming and withdrawal, and monitoring the stock balances.
· Liaising with suppliers any issues regarding the products (damaged, expired, missing items, etc).
· Reconciling purchase orders and invoices
· Prepare and issue purchase orders
· Maintain up to date and precise records of orders, shipments, inventory, and reports and pricelist.
· Manage relationships with organisational network and external vendors for procurement.
· Support negotiation efforts with information on agreed contract terms with preferred sellers.
· Prepare all documentation required by food safety and Halal audit.
· Handling imports coordination and documentation.
· Work with Sales and Finance departments to support payment processes to sellers.
· Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
· Any other ad-hoc procurement admin duties.
Requirements and skills
· Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
· Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems
· A diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred
· A good team player to work in a MNC company
