Role Overview

We are seeking an Entertainment Manager to lead the programming and operation of a flagship lounge onboard a cruise ship. This role combines creative curation, commercial accountability, and charismatic hosting. The Entertainment Manager will oversee the lounge's entertainment P&L, ensuring every performance not only engages audiences but also drives commercial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming & Talent: Curate and book live acts including singers, comedians, DJs, and variety performers tailored to a Chinese-speaking audience.
  • Creative Direction: Shape the flow, style, and presentation of shows while developing original event formats and signature nights.
  • Commercial Focus: Set pricing strategies, drive ticket and table sales, and maximize spend through F&B, sponsorships, and private bookings.
  • Guest Engagement: Build strong connections with audiences, VIPs, and partners in both Mandarin and English.
  • Operations & Delivery: Manage production teams, artist logistics, and ensure seamless execution across multiple performances.
  • Reporting & Leadership: Build and maintain promoter/agency relationships, track KPIs, and report performance outcomes to senior management.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English (Cantonese a plus).
  • Proven track record in live entertainment programming and event P&L management.
  • Strong network within local entertainment markets.
  • Charismatic on stage, comfortable interacting with high-profile guests.
  • Commercially minded, with ability to balance creative quality and revenue delivery.
