Job DescriptionThe Growth & Partnership team in Mediacorp drives meaningful revenue growth by connecting brands, agencies and consumers through impactful partnerships, data-led strategies and creative loyalty solutions that extend beyond Mediacorp's owned ecosystem. The Agency Partnership team is a subset of the G&P team, that builds, manages, and expands strategic collaborations and relationships with large and small agencies to drive revenue, strengthen partnerships, and drive innovation and new business opportunities.
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Agency Business Lead to join Mediacorp. As a key member and the Lead of the team, you will be responsible for the following.
Responsibilities
- Hold accountability for orchestrating and executing the commercial deal strategy, including Trading deals for Holding Companies and Key Independent Agencies
- Manage, inspire and guide the team that handles all the working level agency conversations and day-to-day dealings. Foster team-spirit and drive Mediacorp's RTD values
- Establish, manage and prospect and acquire new leads across different agencies to drive greater engagement and revenue growth
- Identify, assess, and develop potential new business models, partnerships, and revenue streams across agencies with the eventual goal of increasing Sales revenue
- Manage key relationships, by establishing a regular cadence in engaging Account Directors and Agency leads where relevant, with a goal of enhancing media revenue opportunities and keep us on top of innovation and Publisher ad solutions in the market
- Monitor, track and analyse other publisher & digital competitor offerings and strategies to uncover insights, guide our performance, and business decisions
- Build and cultivate meaningful high-level relationships with the senior leadership layers of the agency. Create and regularly expand the stakeholder map, functional rhythm of business and execute strategic Partnership Plans
- Lead Agency briefings and coordinate with internal solutions teams to deliver high-value Agency roadshows/events that evangelize MPL properties and build long term impact plans and help establish MPL as a leader in the Singapore advertising space through thought leadership and industry expertise
- Help create and oversee the team's persuasive and data-driven Agency presentations using market insights, case studies, and product collateral from our Solutioning teams Bring creativity and adaptability to presentations, with the drive and confidence to make new connections across new agency groups (including Social or Digital specialist agencies)
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Solutions, CG, Finance and legal teams
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 8 years' experience in Omni-channel/Digital media with a focus on agencies required
- Proven track record in nurturing trusted relationships with agency leaders; possessing a high degree of executive maturity, integrity and accountability
- Experience in orchestrating complex commercial and trading partnerships with Holding Companies and Key Independent Agencies
- Experience in nurturing AdTech, Martech and data-driven partnerships alongside media activation
- Organizational agility/savvy to lead across functions, markets and segments; and drive scaled programs across multiple geographies and towards multiple local or one global client goal
- Consistently demonstrates a 'growth mindset; embracing continuous learning; challenging the status quo, being brave, owning failures and rapidly iterating
