[What the role is]

The Industry Human Capital division helps to strengthen the human capital capabilities of our local enterprises, and to develop and flow talent to them. This enables our local companies to pursue human capital development in tandem with their business growth. In particular, young talent bring a host of benefits to organisations and should be cultivated as a talent pool. The Young Talent team in the division helps companies attract, connect with and develop young talent. We do this through helping companies to offer meaningful stints, providing students overseas internships, and more.

[What you will be working on]

As part of the team, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with enterprises, Trade Associations & Chambers (TACs) and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) to support local and overseas internship programmes for young talent, including addressing their concerns and providing solutions promptly.
  • Streamline processing of claims including developing workflows and delivering training to processing officers from the service provider.
  • Provide analysis on operational gaps to continually improve on operational productivity and efficiency.
  • Facilitate information flow and communication between Enterprise Singapore officers and the service provider, ensuring that goals and objectives are aligned to achieve the desired results.
  • Work closely with the service provider to ensure strict adherence to grant policies and guidelines, including screening of stipend and overseas allowance claims submitted and assessment of new joiners' progress.
  • Be involved in system enhancements through User Acceptance Testing to and recommending further enhancements.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. Familiarity in the areas of application and claims processing would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to independently deliver outcomes effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and spoken.
  • Inquisitive, open-minded, and resourceful.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills as you will have to deal with some data.
