Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with interface contractors on traffic and drainage diversion stages as well as construction activities.
  • Update design sections in weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Handle design and coordination works for POB, RC structures, traffic, drainage, and external works.
  • Collaborate closely with design consultants, contractors, clients, and relevant authorities.
  • Lead planning activities for road and drainage diversions.
  • Supervise contractors' and vendors' design-related site quality work.
  • Resolve design-related site issues promptly.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents and approvals from local authorities.
  • Produce and manage detailed designs, including calculations and drawings, in compliance with Eurocode, BS code, ACI, and ASCE standards for authority submission.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, accredited by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience
  • Prior involvement in LTA MRT projects is preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of MicroStation will be an added advantage
