Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all work activities are carried out in compliance with WSH laws, codes of practice, and internal safety procedures.
  2. Enforce risk control measures and safe work procedures on-site.
  3. Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
  4. Review and assess Risk Assessments (RAs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Permit-To-Work (PTW) systems.
  5. Identify hazards and propose corrective/preventive measures.
  6. Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction programs for workers and subcontractors.
  7. Promote safety awareness and best practices through campaigns and training sessions.
  8. Maintain safety records, incident reports, inspection checklists, and other regulatory documentation.
  9. Submit monthly safety reports and incident investigation findings to management and relevant authorities when required.
  10. Ensure emergency response plans, drills, and equipment are in place and up to date.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health
  2. Must be a Registered WSH Officer with MOM, Singapore.
  3. Valid MOM-recognized WSHO License.
  4. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, in construction
  5. Strong knowledge of WSH Act, Risk Management Code of Practice, and other related regulations.
  6. Able to handle emergency and high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
  7. Candidates with ECO and/or ECMO certificate and registration with NEA will be preferred.
