Reports to: Senior Manager (IT)

Job Role

The Information Technology Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role is critical in supporting the overall operational efficiency of the organisation by implementing technological solutions, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to staff across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer mobile phones and SIM cards, manage MDM enrollment, and maintain asset records.
  • Prepare and configure laptops, desktops, and peripherals for users and the project site.
  • Create and process purchase requests in accordance with IMS forms standards for IT-related needs and track deliveries.
  • Monitor IT ticketing daily, ensuring tickets are resolved within SLA and escalating complex issues as necessary.
  • Maintain updated documentation for network diagrams, IT assets, and user setups for
  • audit readiness.

Key skills required

  • Basic knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (Intune).
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, O365 setup, and AD user creation.
  • Familiarity with the IMS forms cycle and vendor coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems.

Qualifications and experience

  • Education: Certificate / Diploma in Information Technology, Digital Technology, Computer Science
  • Experience: Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience in the building and construction industry.

  • Average resolution time for IT tickets.
  • Accuracy of IT assets and inventory records.
  • On-time completion of PR/PO processes and project setups.
  • User satisfaction ratings for IT support.
