Skills you'll need:

  • Engage in equipment operations that include loading and unloading of parts into equipment.
  • Fill up the checklist, production log and archive to meet ISO standard before and after the equipment operations for every lots processed.
  • Responsible for following ESD safe procedure for product inspection, test, scan, pack and shipment of Silicon Laboratories products with good quality workmanship.
  • Self-motivated to meet or exceed daily output and work hard diligently.
  • Competent to perform good housekeeping, good workstation practice adherence, and basic simultaneous work to maximize manning ratio as good model example.
  • Willingness to learn, acquire new skills and perform test planning role if needed per supervisor instruction.
  • Perform equipment handling like clearing jamming parts, machine alarm that does not affect the machine setup.
  • Perform timely lot transaction and inspection in all stages of inventory location.
  • Perform simple production control activities like prioritizing daily production demands within each equipment.
  • Work with technicians and learn the basic operating skills.
  • Work and execute per supervisor instructions, and willing to rotate to night shift if needed per company business needs.
  • Strict observation of company policy, values and working hours.
  • Interact with all level of organization (supervisors, technicians, engineer and manager).
  • Train fellow new operators on all equipment operations in the absence of technician and supervisor.
  • Support other assignments given by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:

Must Have

Experience in IC testing.  This means able to articulate the process for IC testing.  Examples are:

a) How to start production for testing

b) How to load test programs on the machines and when to change them

c) What are the causes of quality issues in the testing process

d) When should they re-run the tests

e) Decision when to hold lots and when to release them

If they have experience in IC testing before, they should be able to speak in details of the process

Read English.  Documentation are all in English

Good to Have

  • Have prior work experience in Singapore in semiconductor industry
  • Worked on platforms like Catalyst, J750 or handlers like NS7000, Rascho
