About the RoleAs a Territory Sales in Training, you will join Ecolab's sales team and start your career in outside sales. After completing a structured training program, you'll manage your own territory of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. Acting as the face of Ecolab, you'll provide tailored cleaning and sanitation solutions while growing relationships, driving sales, and delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities- Grow sales within an existing territory by providing customer training, service, and sales demonstrations
- Prospect and cold-call to secure new accounts and expand Ecolab's presence in your market
- Assess and support customers' ware washing systems, offering expert sanitation and cleaning solutions
- Apply mechanical aptitude to install, repair, and maintain ware washing, laundry, and dispensing equipment
- Deliver hands-on demonstrations and ensure safe equipment use, keeping customer facilities fully operational
- Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of outside sales experience
- Valid Class 3 driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Willingness to be on call during off hours and weekends
- Previous business-to-business commercial sales experience
- Industry-related experience (food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa)
- Mechanical problem-solving experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related mechanical skills)
