Science Teacher(PSLE Tuition Centre)

About Us

Seashell Academy, under Xinghai Education Group, is a PSLE-focused tuition centre specialising in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese. We are looking for dedicated Science Teachers who can make science fun, engaging, and exam-focused for primary students.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver Science lessons aligned with MOE syllabus and PSLE exam requirements

· Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and hands-on experiments to enhance engagement

· Teach across PSLE Science topics: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Energy, Earth & Space Systems

· Provide exam-focused training, emphasising keywords, answering techniques, and structured responses

· Assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods accordingly

· Communicate regularly with parents about learning strategies and student progress

· Participate in curriculum production and enhancement

· Participate in training sessions, centre meetings, and tuition centre events (e.g., Open Houses, workshops)

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or related field

· At least 2  years of teaching experience in a tuition centre, enrichment school, or MOE school

· Strong knowledge of Singapore MOE Science syllabus and PSLE exam requirements

· Hands-on teaching style, able to make abstract concepts practical and engaging

· Passionate, patient, and committed to student success

· Able to work on weekday (afternoons to evenings) and weekends (morning to afternoon).
