Japanese Speaking Business Development Manager

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is currently looking for an Business Development Manager (Japanese speaking). 

Responsibilities

  • Quickly understand the added value of the brand and identify potential Japanese speaking customers in a wide range of industries in Southeast Asia, including machinery, chemicals, automobiles, and semiconductors
  • Offer solutions to those who are in corporate strategy, corporate development and marketing planning and struggle with getting market insight and diagnosis
  • Reach out to prospects (outbound) and/ or handle inbound leads within the assigned market, set up and lead demo sessions (online or in person), and close sales effectively using a customer-centric approach
  • Contribute to product improvement initiatives by sharing customers' needs
  • Communicate openly and collaborate well with other team members - more specifically with Customer Support, Data and Content Team, and Sales Operations to address challenges in new MRR acquisition
  • Travel to Bangkok, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City for about two weeks once a quarter

Requirements

  • B2B sales experience
  • Basic knowledge in Accounting or Finance is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial, passion for start-up culture
  • Japanese language proficiency to handle Japanese speaking client and create reports in Japanese
