Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated laboratory executive to join our Immunopathology team.
The overall purpose is to apply immunologic methods developed in our laboratory for patients diagnosed with haematologic malignancies
a) to precisely classify the cancer cells at diagnosis or recurrence of disease
b) to monitor the response to treatment throughout the course of therapy
c) to monitor and characterise genetically engineered cells infused into patients enrolled on cell therapy protocols
Qualifications
- BSc degree in Biological Sciences or related subject from an accredited university
- Experience in a clinical or clinical research laboratory related to haematology or immunology is preferred
- Candidates with no relevant experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided
- Excellent ability to understand instructions and technical processes
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team player
