• Project Title: Faster Cost metrics drift detection using advanced data analytics and machine learning ​

• Project Description: Data analytics and machine learning has been introduced in the Micron manufacturing operations to improve efficiency. There are intensive Cost metrics monitoring before product being shipped out. New big data and machine learning based data analytics methods are demanded of faster drift and Opportunity detection. ​

• In this project, a novel method will be developed to leverage analytics and machine learning on the big data generated from various Cost Platform measurements for earlier drift detection of Cost healthy metrics. ​

• The student will have the opportunity to learn and apply industrial data analytics, modeling, simulation and optimization skills to solve the practical issues and bring real impact on the state-of-arts semiconductor manufacturing process. ​

• The intern will also have opportunity to participate to an end-to-end solution development team to contribute ideas and learn from industrial subject experts. ​

• Scope: Explore various machine learning techniques for the feature selection, modeling and cost simulation data. Explore existing multiple cost platform and initiatives. Explore multiple variables optimization.  ​

• Deliverable: Accurate modeling of the Cost metrics, early drift and opportunity detection​

• Impact of Project: Improved Cost identification and Completion​

• Skillset Require: General problem solving, data analytics, programming language R, Python, Tableau and Power BI is an advantage
