Accountant (Construction)

Job Description:

• Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entity assigned.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
• Prepare WIP and provide recommendation on project profitability and cost optimisation is an advantage
• Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials.
• Involve in the preparation of group budgets and forecasts.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for filing on time.
• Handle tax matters including the quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and procedure.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in construction
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English and Chinese, developed through extensive experience liaising with Chinese clients.

Location: Fifth Ave (nearest MRT Sixth Ave)

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm

Salary Structure: up to SGD 5,500 + Performance Bonus
