About the role
Fartech Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in the Kaki Bukit East Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of our state-of-the-art mechanical engineering products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the high quality and performance of our offerings.
What you'll be doing
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards
- Perform functional testing and quality checks on assembled products
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of the assembly process
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an assembly technician or in a similar role within the mechanical engineering industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
