Retail Store Manager

As a Retail Store Manager at Red Dot Running Company you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store.

You will report to the Director to provide the necessary support to achieve the store's goals. You will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while fostering a sense of leadership and community within the store. Through great service and genuine interactions, we aim to cultivate a positive atmosphere where everyone feels empowered to be authentic. As a Retail Store Manager, you will play a vital role in nurturing this spirit of community and contributing to the success of our store while driving sales, managing inventory, and leading a team of dedicated staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Sales and Profitability: Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies, analysing sales data, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory levels, track stock movements, and minimize shrinkage through effective inventory control.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service, resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing and products are displayed attractively to enhance the shopping experience.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, order fulfilment, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and sales.
• Stay informed about all new products and shop merchandise, displays, promotions in order to provide customers with accurate information and recommendations.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc).
• Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PR) only.
