Responsibilities
  • Support and troubleshoot infrastructure services, managing day-2 IT infrastructure operations for one of our key customers in Singapore.
  • Technical Operation Domains

(a) Virtualization Platform Management

  • Experienced in managing VMware or Hyper-V environments.

(b) Windows Server Management

  • Skilled in managing large-scale Active Directory environments.
  • Proficient in Windows Server failover clustering and load balancing.

(c) Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration

  • Expertise in RHEL performance tuning and security hardening.
  • Experienced in using Red Hat Satellite for system management and patching.

(d) Hypervisor Configuration and Management

  • Expertise in VMware vSphere cluster management and high-availability setup.
  • Experienced in Hyper-V live migration and replication.

(e) Rack Infrastructure Setup and Maintenance

  • Skilled in designing and implementing efficient rack cooling solutions.
  • Experienced in managing high-density server rack power distribution.

(f) Backup Solutions Design and Execution

  • Expertise in implementing and managing enterprise-level backup solutions such as Veeam or Commvault.
  • Experienced in designing and testing disaster recovery plans.

(g) Network Infrastructure Management

  • Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experienced in implementing Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions.

(h) Database Services Administration and Optimisation

  • Proficient in performance tuning for major database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Experienced in implementing database high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

(i) Storage Configuration and Management

  • Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting LUNs and storage-related issues.
  • Experienced with Pure Storage live migration and replication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience across at least three of the technical domains listed above.
  • Proven experience leading a team of at least 5 members.
  • Experience in performing CIS hardening on WinTel and RHEL systems, GPO deployment, and security assessment/remediation.
  • ITIL Foundation v4 certified.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, VLANs).
