Summary

The Scheduling specialist will look at operationalising network plan by ensuring that desired schedule changes are implemented accurately and in a timely manner, and for all stakeholders and downstream systems to be informed of the schedule change.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform schedule changes and coordinate the schedule change process with other departments to ensure that all passengers are correctly rebooked and all relevant stakeholders are informed about the schedule change.

  • Ensure that schedules are correctly loaded into various downstream platforms

  • Handle passengers' re-accommodation based on established SOP and troubleshoot issues as and when they arise

  • Resolve system related issues, including providing business case for required enhancements

  • Regularly update and distribute operational and marketing schedules to internal and external stakeholders

  • Keep updated and share with team on system functions and process changes that can help with scheduling work

  • Provide support, as required, in regulatory matters including filing for seasonal and ad-hoc schedule permits. Assist with other regulatory work as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Numberical field of study, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)

  • A mature team player who is able to work well with other departments and stakeholders;

  • Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently;

  • Able to work independently within a fast paced, target driven environment;

  • Pro-active attitude

  • Work Experience in network planning or scheduling related work will be an asset

  • Experience in travel industry will be an advantage
