We are seeking a Science Laboratory Technician to provide technical support to the Science Department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting teachers with practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for students to explore and enjoy science. Key Responsibilities Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of the science laboratories.Prepare teaching resources (including tools/equipment/materials/apparatus and any learning or training kits) in collaboration with teachers.Manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock and procure of new equipment/materials/components when necessary while tracking the budget and resources utilisation in the Science LaboratoriesDemonstrate competence in use of equipment/machines as well as simple troubleshooting.Conduct specific experiments as per HODs instructions.Conduct termly store stock take for scientific equipment/material/apparatus. Track faulty equipment/materials that need to be replaced.Maintain a record of the loaning out of equipment/materials/apparatus to teachers.Update database of science resources which include diagrams and pictures.Any other duties assigned by HOD and school leaders.
