We are working with a biotech company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer to join their Singapore team.

The package is competitive at SGD 104.5k-129k / year (excluding bonus).

Seeking a software engineer or bioinformatics engineer to develop automated test infrastructure and bioinformatics tools for analyzing large genomic datasets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing automated software verification frameworks and test scripts.
  • Working with bioinformatics scientists on data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Setting up CI/CD pipelines and improving databases/websites for verification activities.
  • Participating in code and design reviews and following SDLC procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or C++.
  • Experience with automated verification frameworks and Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics, genomics, molecular biology, or oncology.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud technologies preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelors (5+ years), Masters (3+ years), or PhD in a relevant field.
