Perform and oversee daily Nostro reconciliations, ensuring breaks are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor exception workflows and escalate aged breaks to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with Operations, Treasury, Product Control, IT, and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze root causes of reconciliation breaks and implement preventive measures to improve control effectiveness.
- Ensure reconciliations meet internal policy, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to automation and process optimization, leveraging reconciliation platforms (SmartStream, Duco, or equivalent).
- Participate in system configuration, testing, and deployment of new reconciliation rules.
- Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and training guides for reconciliation processes.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to junior analysts or new joiners.
- Support transformation initiatives (e.g., system migrations, regulatory reporting, or process re-engineering).

**Requirements**:

- 3-6 years of experience in Nostro or cash reconciliation within financial services.
- Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools (SmartStream, Duco, Intellimatch, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of Nostro accounts, settlements, and cash management workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify patterns and root causes.
- Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, and Technology.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and controls (e.g., SOX, Basel, local regulatory standards) is a plus.
