**Purpose and Scope**

Sembcorp is seeking a Process Excellence Senior Manager/Manager to join the Group Procurement team. This role is based in Singapore and will be responsible to support Head of Group Procurement to drive Procurement transformation, fulfilling the Procurement delivery for Sembcorp Industrial Group. This role will work with Procurement Leadership to establish policies/SOP and e-procurement system to drive business value and digital transformation. This role is part of the Group Procurement Leadership team, reporting into Head of Group Procurement.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**

Process and Governance
- Work with Procurement leadership and respective Group Functions to ensure policies and controls are fit for purpose for business needs while maintaining right level of controls.
- Collaborate with key functional teams such as Group Audit, Risk, Sustainability and Finance to support Business to achieve Control, Compliance and Sustainability goals.
- Lead Policies and SOP roll out, jointly with e-procurement system deployment.
- Oversees the development, delivery, and maintenance of procurement technology-based business solutions. Manage projects to assure scope and schedules are met.
- Performance and Portfolio management for key procurement initiatives like Cost Saving reporting and compliance performance.
- Lead Best practices sharing across Markets, promote collaboration and community building.

Procurement Transformation
- Support Procurement Transformation and change management.
- Support the Digital Procurement transformation and lead S2P Process design.
- Support Group Procurement Head in developing and executing training and development plan via Procurement Competency framework.

Process Improvement
- Evaluate process and system performance to identify gaps in value realization/ areas of improvement.
- Derive insights from data to uncover bottlenecks, identify opportunities for process improvement, driving efficiency.
- Measure performance of systems across and report continuous improvement KPIs to the Procurement Leadership. Support Head of Group Procurement for target setting.
- Lead and drive process automation through digitalization or eliminate of non-value added activities.

**Key Decisions & Dimensions**
- Develop Policies and SOP, drive efficiency and establish controls.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/ Supply chain/ Business Management/Engineering with minimum 10 years procurement experience with 3-5 years in Digital Procurement project and P2P Transformation and Project Management
- Experience in procurement transformation and preferably in the project member role.
- Knowledge of relevant IT systems including SAP, S2P e-platform deployment.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with respective functions to drive S2P efficiency and compliance.
- Experience in design and implement end-to-end business process, identifying areas of improvement and implementing the necessary change management.
- Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organization, engaging and collaborative way of working.
- Passion in continuous improvement, people development and driving changes.

Based in Singapore, with minimum travel required.

**Preferred Skills & Characteristics**
- Process and results oriented with growth mindset
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g. SAP and e-procurement system).
