**Key Responsibilities**
- To perform the duties of the Workplace Safety and Health Officer as required under the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
- To perform the duties of the Fire Safety Manager as required by SCDF and under the Fire Safety Act.
- Conduct monthly WSH meetings, workplace inspection and safety briefing as per the company and regulatory framework agenda.
- Collaborate with HODs to design, implement and sustain WSH programmes to reduce incidents and promote a positive safety culture which include Gemba walk, Hazard elimination projects, Safety campaign etc.
- To represent SATS Aero Laundry in Risk and Safety related meetings or programs
- To represent SATS Aero Laundry in corporate governance, risk and compliance and sustainability matters.
- Timely submission of safety reports which includes fire safety report, WSH meeting minutes, presentation decks, inspection report, incident investigations, safety statistics etc.
- Conduct/ maintain/ review risk assessments and monitor compliance to the identified controls.
- Conduct incident investigation and lead the team to work out remedial solution to prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness, timely closure of safety corrective and preventive actions from various drivers which includes hazard reporting, incident investigations, inspections, audits.
- Communicate and liaise with business partners, WSH regulators, authorities and other external bodies on behalf of the organization.
- Oversight and assurance of all compliance matters which include but not limited to safety related licenses, legal requirements, staff trainings (both internal and external), submission of reports to authorities.
- Develop and maintain bizSAFE and/ or ISO certification system, if required.
- Any other operational duties as assigned by BU or functional reporting officer

**Key Requirements**
- Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM is preferred
- Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF
- Good knowledge of local regulations relating to Occupational Safety and Health
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health is preferred
- Good planning, organizing, communications and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work under mínimal supervision and with all levels of employees and managerial staff
- Able to collaborate with relevant external authorities and parties
