Position Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Plant HR Manager to spearhead new HR initiatives to prepare the organization for future growth and change.
- Act as Business Partner to the line managers and supervisors and to work closely with them to roll out the HR initiatives.
- Assist to develop and initiate Talent Management programs. Identify and implement people development initiatives to groom future leaders and hi-potentials.
- Assist in overhauling the performance management process, including reviewing the performance appraisal forms, promotion criteria, salary gradings, career mapping, etc.
- Assist in analyzing salary and benefit data and trending for union negotiation.
- Provide stewardship role in employee engagement activities and any other identified new HR initiatives.
- Support the department in reviewing, development and implementation of HR policies, plans, processes and programs to align to organizational goals and market competitiveness.
- Work with other plant HR Managers in International Battery to consolidate, collate and rollout out global programs.
- Work with Global HR Shared Service and Rewards teams to facilitate the design, implementation and fulfilment of global initiatives.

What we are looking for:

- University Degree in Human Resources, Business or another related field.
- 5-8 years of functional Human Resources and business partnership experience.
- Knowledge of Singapore labor/employment laws as they pertain to HR practices.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence for a desired outcome/result.
- Ability to respectfully challenge leaders and manager.
- Effective at balancing being a strategic partner, change agent, administrative expert, & employee champion.
- Proficiency in English.
- Sound business acumen.
- Ability to work independently.
- Some experience working with global and regional teams.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- Human Resource Certification.
- Prior experience with SAP Success Factors.
- Compensation experience.
