**Kitchen Service Assistant Job Description**:
**Position**: Kitchen Service Assistant

**Job Summary**:
Looking for a **part time / full time** kitchen service assistant for a fast paced salad bar in Lavender Area. Option to take on full Manager role as well.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and measuring.

**Cooking Support**: Support chefs and cooks by following recipes, cooking techniques, and ensuring the timely completion of orders.

**Cleaning**: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by regularly cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.

**Stock Management**: Monitor and restock kitchen supplies, including food items, condiments, and cleaning supplies.

**Food Storage**: Properly label, date, and store ingredients and prepared food items to prevent spoilage and contamination.

**Assisting with Presentation**: Assist in the presentation of salad toppings to meet quality and aesthetic standards.

**Assist with Kitchen Organization**: Maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen layout to facilitate smooth operations.

**Compliance**: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food.

**Teamwork**: Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure a harmonious work environment and timely order completion.

**Customer Service**: Occasionally interact with customers to provide information, address inquiries, or just make a new friend : )

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to cope with the lunch hour.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

**Quick details**:
1. Hours: 10.30AM - 3.30PM (negotiable) or full time.

2. Location: Aperia Mall

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $2,300.00 per month

**Benefits**:
