**The Role**

The role reports into the Client Services Manager, who manage PL Re Asia Client Services within the Operations team.

The Client Services team is responsible for data management, accounts processing and managing internal as well as external client relationship. Additionally, there are exciting challenges ahead with the introduction of a new project involving back-office unification and standardization. There are opportunities for global exposure and a chance to work with other business units across various locations.

The role is varied and dynamic, and there are several different projects and ad-hoc pieces of work you may be involved with, for example:

- Fully understand the treaty and client's data for effective in-force treaty management
- Perform necessary validation checks on data, manage error handling to reconcile and book statement of accounts in a timely manner
- Develop various business object reports for regular validation of accounts and controls
- Process improvements, and developing and improving reporting/MI methods
- Manage client relationship through regular engagement including face to face meetings, annual reviews etc.
- Manage Internal stakeholders like actuarial functions, finance etc by validating all key reports before sharing with various internal stakeholders and highlight any issues with the client data or extraordinary data trends
- Perform internal controls pertaining to the above processes, including Anti-money laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) controls
- Provide inputs and requirements to drive treaty implementation.

The team works closely together and with other teams in the Asia Business Unit including Finance, Actuarial functions, Pricing and Marketing. A collaborative and proactive attitude is therefore a must for the role.

**Essential Qualifications & Expertise**
- A sound knowledge of Insurance/Reinsurance or any other financial institutions administration practices and principles.
- Aptitude for managing data and analysis with advanced Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with large datasets (~1mil records).
- Knowledge of basic coding or interested in learning the skill.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

**Desirable Experience**
- Good report writing and verbal communications skills.
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL or similar data query tools.
- Experience in working on SAP or another operations platform.
- Curiosity and critical thinking of issues with solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
