**Job Summary**:
As a Laboratory Assistant in the Electrochemical Lab at Aprisum, you will play a crucial role in supporting our testing business. Aprisium develop novel electrochemical technologies and functional surfaces. Your responsibilities will primarily involve conducting certified laboratory tests of samples, analysing data, and to collaborate with the senior research team to achieve company project objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform laboratory tests with Aprisium equipment.
- Perform certifed tests on client samples.
- Support the research and development with diligent preparation of reagents and materials.
- Prepare and handle chemical solutions, reagents, and materials required for experimental procedures.
- Operate and maintain electrochemical testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
- Collect and record data meticulously, maintaining organized and detailed lab notebooks.
- Collaborate closely with the senior research team to troubleshoot and optimize experimental setups.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of experimental protocols and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and publications in the field of electrochemistry and related areas.
- Comply with safety protocols, maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment.
- Communicate findings and progress to the team effectively, both verbally and in written reports.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree or Diploma in fields related to Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science.
- Previous experience or coursework in electrochemistry or related areas is desirable.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques, instruments, and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing project needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and results to team members.
- Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Plus if experience in managing a laboratory (LIMS, ISO 17025, SAC Singlas etc.).
