**Schweiger & Partners is looking for a Patent Manager.**:

We are looking for someone mature who enjoys operational tasks. This person will handle cases in our Patent department and help promote our customer-oriented approach.

He should be a team player, not just to oversee the team but is ready to handle hands-on case work whenever needed.

**Core Tasks/Responsibilities**

Act as a key account manager:

- Correspond with stakeholders and maintain records of such correspondence.
- Oversee the work of our patent engineers and patent attorneys. Ensuring that their work meets quality, the delivery time and the budget that was agreed upon with our clients.

Support the team with patent prosecution tasks such as:

- Providing advice on patent prosecution strategies in Germany, Europe and Singapore.
- Liaising and instructing external counsels on patent matters in various jurisdictions.
- Process invoices from vendors/associates which includes preparing invoices and quotations for clients.
- Replying to official communications from national and international patent offices.

Steering of the delivery process for the following IP work products:

- Prior searches
- Freedom-to-operate analysis
- Patent validity and/or infringement analysis
- Official register file inspection
- Competitor monitoring
- Advise on assignment and licensing matters
- Support the development of new products and services.
- Step in to help the team when required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Legal Qualification can be helpful but not required
- Strong command of English
- Experienced in managing people and projects
- Familiar in the billing processes (change
- Understand the money flow of business services)
- Capability to manage complexity, changing requirements and work under tight timelines.
- Self-starter and able to motivate others. Ability to work independently
