**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Conduct search and analysis of patent documents to determine the patentability of inventions.
- Draft patent descriptions relating to the technical domain that he/she is specialised in.
- Provide consultancy services to clients regarding all types of intellectual property rights in Singapore in particular on patents, provisional patents, trade secrets, patentability opinions, and related patent advisory matters.
- Provide consultancy services to clients regarding patent rights in Singapore, in particular on patents, provisional patents, trade secrets, patentability opinions, Freedom to Operate analysis and related patent advisory matters.
- Provide patent infringement analysis and preliminary infringement advice before the work is sent to Litigation Counsels (should there be a dispute in Court).
- Contribute articles and speak at seminars to increase awareness of IP and to educate the public.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree in any one technical medium such as Engineering / Biology / Life Sciences or Chemistry with above average academic results from reputable universities.
- Registered IP Consultant
- Excellent command of English
- Good conceptual, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Able to articulate points in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- Attentive to minute details.
- Practice excellent work ethics and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Fun to work with, considerate of others' needs, and embrace lifelong learning.
