Team Introduction
ByteDance Procurement aims to provide high-quality purchasing solutions for ByteDance and establish a global platform for purchasing resources. Through providing professional management of procurement resources, selecting high-quality suppliers, and managing supplier performance, we aim to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance of ByteDance procurement behavior, fostering a healthy long-term business environment.
We are looking for a Regional Procurement Manager to be responsible for handling procurement requests in APAC & Marketing Category including Media, Market Research, Influencer Marketing, Events, Corporate Communication, Creative Production & so on.

**Responsibilities**:
**Primary Responsibilities include**:

- Partner with SEA (South East Asia) & AUNZ (Australia & New Zealand) Regional and Global Marketing teams to develop sourcing strategy across multiple sub-categories, including Media buying, Creative & Video Production, Social and PR communication, Creator Marketing, Events etc. With primary focus on SEA.
- Leading continual improvement and innovation in company compliance, supplier management, sourcing process optimization, and purchasing efficiency;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve work efficiency, accountability for flawless and professional execution of strategies and timely resolution of issues.
- Leading and managing key internal and external procurement relationships regionally.
- Build category intelligence and insights by conducting deep-dive regional/global sourcing analysis.
- Be the expert of commodity by knowing the market, competitions, capable suppliers in different locations in the region with the skills to influence the market.
- Develop a robust, qualified vendor pool using appropriate procurement evaluation tools and processes. These include developing sourcing strategies, conducting RFXs, negotiating contracts, and managing partnerships.
- To provide the business units with the most effective procurement solutions/methods such as portfolio management, total cost analysis, risk assessment, and project timing forecasts.
- Provide end-to-end procurement support, including P2P, negotiation, and execution of contracts, monitoring project deliverables and key milestones, developing supplier performance management programs, and developing business allocation policies and procedures to manage supplier contractual obligations/violations.
- Drive procurement efficiency and implement the best practices by creating contract frameworks, rating cards, catalog buying, punch out, etc., and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve work efficiency, accountability for flawless and professional execution of strategies, and timely resolution of issues.
- Establish a constructive and sustainable partnership with key business stakeholders and acquire an in-depth understanding of each business unit you support.
- Other special/ad-hoc projects or support as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant experience in procurement, including developing sourcing strategies, leading commercial tactics such as negotiation and competitive bidding, managing supplier relationships, and influencing leadership or peers to drive business value in the related fields
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and get into details
- Self-motivated and open-minded with a passion for challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement
- A collaborative mindset with solid stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills and capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Strong people management skills with a proven ability to manage, lead and inspire a growing multinational team
- Excellent Ethics
- There are three additional competencies on top of "ByteStyle": deal with ambiguity, conflict management, and change management.
- English speaker is a must, and multiple-language speaker is preferred
