**Mission**:
As a key member of the IOTA and Shimmer team, you will play a vital role in driving the development and growth of the ecosystem in Asia through offline and online events and initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
Community Education: own the strategy and plan for education and knowledge sharing in Asia
- Represent the company at offline events and presentations in regions such as Singapore, Taiwan, HK, Korea and others. This may include talks at universities, hosting workshops and meet ups for developers, builders (web2 and web3), and more.
- Write documentation and conduct online presentations to explain the company's technology stack in L1 Tangle (L2 VMs) and go-to market to a variety of audiences in both English and Mandarin.

Relationship Management: be the dedicated point of contact for the company's community members in Asia
- Communicate the company's value proposition to developers, ecosystem partners, government agencies, and potential investors/VCs through outreach, conferences and Hackthons. Have regular updates/calls with the related parties/entities after they enter the company's community.
- Help build a thriving Dapp ecosystem and infrastructure
- Run a community on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, etc. and share experiences and insights with the bi-weekly call (as twitter space, telegram call or Discord event).
- Establish relationships with community members, helping them become active contributors, and develop an understanding of their needs, goals, progress, and expectations

Discovery: research, scout for, and onboard new individuals, organisations, and projects working in crypto and Web3
- Contribute to the ecosystem development strategy of the company
- Support the team in researching and understanding trends in enterprise blockchain, crypto and web3
- Actively explore web2, web3 and adjacent industries for potentially valuable additions to the community
