**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Retail Operations**:

- Assist in managing the daily operations of the nursery, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring a well-maintained retail environment.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory of plants, gardening tools, and other retail products.
- Oversee point-of-sale operations, including cash handling, invoicing, and sales reporting.

**Customer Experience**:

- Provide expert advice to customers on plant care, selection, and maintenance to enhance their shopping experience.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Create an inviting and informative shopping environment through attractive displays and signage.

**Sales & Marketing Support**:

- Assist in developing and executing promotional activities, including seasonal campaigns and workshops.
- Support the Retail Manager in analyzing sales performance and recommending strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement online and in-store promotions.

**Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and mentor retail staff to ensure excellent service delivery and professional growth.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance staff knowledge of plants and customer service skills.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.

**Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and organization in the retail and storage areas.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a plant nursery, gardening, or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of plants and gardening products is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage operations effectively.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
