The Planning Specialist is responsible for demand planning processes for specific portfolio within Medical Devices businesses in J&J Singapore.

This position is responsible for:

- Ensure business plans and demand plans are aligned.
- Ensure timely product availability to meet the customer demand.
- Manage the inventory and inventory health (slow and obsolete inventory).
- Manage the business forecasts over 12/24/36 month horizon for strategic planning and manufacturing / capacity planning.
- Ensure the business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate and Maintains the entire Demand Planning process to ensure the generation of valid demand forecasts for Singapore.
- Is responsible for the country forecast and product availability through consistent deployment of process. Work in close coordination with Product Managers to arrive at consensus demand plan.
- Implements the recommends actions based on Demand Planning key performance indicators
- When needed, Run MRP, raise PO's and Carries out Planning Parameter review for ensuring product availability for franchise-country
- Coordinate with Supply teams to ensure efficient product availability.
- Participates in the process for managing the business continuity (product availability) for major supply disruptions, regulatory changes and Asset reconfiguration projects
- Provide inputs in product availability communication and / manages the action arising due to product shipment errors
- Participates in S&OP process and follows the action items as agreed in the S&OP process
- Participates in the monthly Demand Supply Handover meeting.
- Implements and the Supply Chain Process Excellence tools and techniques for improvement of supply chain planning processes
- Keep up to date on relevant Supply Chain technology and process trends within Medical industry
- Actively support Credo based behaviour, corporate policy and ethics.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-6 years' related experience in demand planning
- Demand planning background in Medical Devices or similar industry is preferred
- Ability to collaborate and partner with various stakeholders is a must
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
