**Responsibilities**

Specific responsibilities include:

- Lead a team of functional managers and supervisors to improve productivity and quality levels
- Ensure a cost-effective operation by monitoring manufacturing efficiencies, scrap rates, WIP volumes, equipment and materials strategies.
- Ensure effective management of all materials and plant property.
- Understand market requirements; and interface with customers to keep close tab on changing market trends. Support Sales & Marketing with product/technical support.
- Cost Management. Inventory Planning & Control. Logistics.
- Ensure that the teams understand business dynamics and are focused on providing the customer with the highest level of service and support.
- Team Building and Capability Development in alignment with business objectives

**Requirements**:

- Engineering degree/diploma from a premier institution.
- At least 12 years of working experience in mid-sized electrical manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to electrical assembly, plastics injection molding, metal processing, extrusion and other processes preferred.
- Ability to drive initiatives for improvements in operational efficiency, quality and delivery
- Proven leadership and man-management skills
- Strong communication - written and spoken - skills. Fluency in English is essential.
- Ability to understand overall business growth strategies; Strong business focus, entrepreneurial flair and passion for manufacturing businesses
