Our client, a reputable and well-established commodity firm, is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead their finance division. This pivotal role entails comprehensive responsibility for the company's financial matters, encompassing financial reporting, strategic planning, trade finance, and overall financial operations

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the finance and accounting teams, ensuring effective management and continuous improvement of financial processes.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive the company's growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the budgeting and financial forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Manage trade finance activities, including letters of credit, trade credit insurance, and export financing.
- Establish and maintain robust risk management and compliance frameworks.

**Requirements**:

- Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years experience in a Finance Director or CFO position, ideally within a trading environment or commodity firm
- Relevant finance qualifications, certificates and tax experience
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin, enabling effective communication with stakeholders based in China.
