APERO is a new casual Bistro and Wine concept on Circular road.

We are looking for a creative & motivated individual to fill the role of Commis to help Sous chef in every day operations.

Pertaining to high standards of personal hygiene and food preparation within the kitchen, we look forward to fill this position with talented person with an immense desire to create remarkable flavours and memorable experiences for all our guests.

**Commis Cook
**Summary of Responsibilities**:
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

- Maintain daily mis-en-place and prepare ingredients
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
- Keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights and promotions
- Adhere to recipes and stock management
- Adjust cooking based on guest preferences

**Requirements & Competencies**:

- Minimum of 1 year in basic culinary position
- Knowledge of different culinary techniques
- Certificate in Culinary, preferred
