Singapore SHERATON TOWERS SINGAPORE HOTEL Full time

Provide, implement and monitor a security management system for the hotel to ensure compliance with current legislation, licensing regulations and all matters with reference to Fire Safety.
- Minimize risk and provide a creditable level of protection for the Hotel premises, its guests, visitors, contractors and staff.
- Implement and monitor procedures and practices relating to:

- Hotel electronic locking systems with back of the house issuance & key controls.
- Security and safe custody of cash and valuables.
- Investigation of room thefts - acts of crime on the premises.
- Control of undesirable activities on the premises..
- Security and control of all aspects of property, i.e. guest rooms, public areas,
- Staff and heart of the house areas.
- Provide policies and procedures in accordance with Government and local legislation with preference to:

- Fire procedures and Fire training.
- Evacuation procedures and full staff evacuations.
- Bomb threat procedures.
- Sudden deaths - natural or suicide.
- Managing first-aid and equipments.
- Fire equipments.
- Updates with and liaison with Civil Defence on emergency and disaster planning.
- Advise on all matters pertaining to legal requirements on Security and Fire Safety promulgated by government authorities.
- Promote a good working relationship between the Police, Civil Defence, the Hotel and other related Agencies.
- Attend all Hotel Security and Fire Safety Meetings with government and other related agencies.
- Maintain reports such as Occurrence Book; Lost Property and Property Found Reports; Accidents (Guest & Staff) Reports; Theft Reports: Undesirables Records; Key issuance Records.
- Maintain essential records to participate in the annual government sponsored Security and Fire Safety Awards.

Job Requirement:

- All relevant Security Licensing modules
- Fire Safety Manager certification
- 5 years of relevant experience in Security and Fire Safety
