Programme Associate

The Programmes Associate is an impact driven individual, passionate about nurturing the youth of today into regional leaders of tomorrow through creating, planning and delivering unique and effective initiatives.
The Programmes Associate is also passionate about preparing youths to be cross-culturally competent in ASEAN-China through networks, soft skills, and curated practical opportunities.
Responsibilites:
- Collaborate closely with the Programmess Team and the broader TYS Leadership Team to bring to life innovative and effective programmes aimed at enhancing the career readiness and regional readiness of SEAkers and the general youth population
- Keep an open mind to think outside the box and not be afraid to get hands-on when it comes to rolling out the programmes
- Propose any new initiatives aligned with our vision that you feel would be worth a shot
- Balance being task and people oriented as there will be many opportunities for both
- Be creative in conceptualising any new initiatives aligned with the vision of creating a strong community
Qualification:
- Ability to commit 1 to 2 hours per week as part of the TYS Leadership Team (Commitment might increase slightly for some periods depending on project needs)
- An interest in career related programs/initiatives (e.g. Mentorship, Case Competitions, Networking events etc) OR engagement related programs/initiatives (e.g. Networking events, Cross-Cultural Exchange events etc)
- Likes working in a fun team
- An open mindset, ready to learn on the fly
- Prior experience in running projects or programmes would be a plus, else a strong interest in honing your project management skills would be good
