**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and manage credit, performance and fraud risk in the supply chain portfolio, with respect to both client and own exposure, communicating these risks effectively and transparently.
- Formulate, implement and review prudent credit policies with regard to own exposure.
- Continuously analyze portfolio performance and recommend strategies with both revenue and risk in consideration, serving as a collaborative sounding board and trusted partner to the business.
- Implement risk management strategy within the venture’s risk management framework and establish effective processes to monitor these risks and identify emerging risks proactively so as to adjust management actions and maintain losses within acceptable thresholds.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the venture, including understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and policies.

**Essential Skills**:

- Ideally 8 years’ experience covering one or more of the following: 1) Credit approval with individual credit authority and/or credit analysis. 2) Risk governance (e.g. implementing enterprise risk management frameworks). 3) Operational risk.
- Junior hires with less experience will also be considered in more junior roles.
- Expertise in supply chain financing products and related risks would be advantageous.
- Exceptional drive and achievement orientation, and intellectual agility.
- High comfort level with the uncertainty of an expanding start-up, with constant self-education, ability to develop structure from scratch, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate in virtual teams.
- Degree in any discipline from a top university.
